It all depends where I swim and what I do.
For pool training I wear a tight hood up that stays put when I swim fast. Some pools require swim caps, so my hood does just that, and I wear it up all the time.
When I relax the hood often goes down, sometimes stays up. In my bathtub I usually wear the hood up to keep my head warm. I like the cozy feeling.
