We got another storm at about 4 AM Thursday, but it hit mainly central Phoenix rather than the northeast, so the house got a lot of rain, but the hiking trail didn't get much. At least we don't have to water the lawn for a while.

At work a customer was puzzled that I weighed down his paperwork immediately. I said, "You wouldn't believe how much paperwork we lose to dust storms." Thursday morning's rain blew in horizontally, so some of the paperwork for the night shift got soaked. It was dry by the time I had to audit it though. It wouldn't do to shut the doors. The furnace room would be even hotter, and the furnaces emit carbon monoxide.
